Singing a Solo

Published by at 8:13 pm under Spiritual

Last night I had a precious little dream in which I was assembled with a type of heavenly choir…do not know which side of the veil… and we were going to sing unto the Lord. As we started up, I realized that NO ONE ELSE WAS SINGING, but I MUST. As my voice is not as pretty as it used to be, I prayed silently for GRACE to sing this SOLO. It came out so beautifully with His blessing upon it. I can hear the music but cannot recall the words.

I know that the Lord is telling us here that no matter what it is He is asking of us, we have to be obedient. If no other saint or angel is cooperating with the call, we have to do it anyway even at the risk of seeming foolish. Is this not an Abrahamic tale? He set out to a place he knew not where on sheer unadulterated FAITH. So this is a dream about FAITH, and that is what He asks for in this hour! Please read Hebrews 11 again to get inspired for your independent journey with the Lord. And we are, of course, never truly solo as HE is within us!!

We always travel alone
with the Spirit…
No two paths the same.
Although sometimes crossing,
even woven together,
the threads are yet distinct.
The journey we take
to fulfill our destiny
is one of solitude
and submission to the Plan…

In the stillness of the heart
is the Way revealed.

I will sing unto the Lord
for He has triumphed gloriously…

Exodus 15:1

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.] Hebrews 11:1

Yes, Diana, our journey is a “solitary” one. Have you ever read Tozer’s “The Saint Must Walk Alone?”

Thanks Diana for sharing this beautiful dream. Few days ago I was ministering to the lord one early morning and Father instructed me to go and read the life story of Smith wigglesworth. From the little I could lay my hand on concening Wigglesworth one thing stands out clear: he was a man of FAITH…. rugged faith. So I understood Father wants me to pay more attention to this element in my walk Him. This (your dream) is really a word in season.
